PHN Primary Program Elements   The primary Public Health Nursing program elements include, but are not limited to: The control and prevention of communicable and chronic diseases. The promotion of Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health. The prevention of family violence including the abuse and neglect of children, spouses, and elderly adults. Case management services to populations at risk. Health promotion and injury prevention.
